Another Great Veggietales! October 19, 2007 Veggietales are entertaining for the whole family. We own nearly every one of them. Highly recommended.
MUST SEE!!! July 12, 2007 This is wonderful AND powerful to watch the Bible come to life this way. You will laugh AND get ministered to. Simple ideas brought to life.
excellent November 10, 2006 Hello, I first saw this at my neices & nephews house. Then I bought a DVD of it. It is excellent for kids to watch. Kids can learn a lot of good things from veggie tales like faith & morals/values. It is very fun to watch & kids love Veggie tales! I haven't met a kid yet that doesn't like them. It talks about God, & that is a rarity in shows today. God bless whoever made these cartoons! Have a great day! Steve.
Disappointing...Compared to earlier Veggies March 25, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am a huge Veggie Tales fan! I was a fan before I had my own children. I would highly, highly recommend the original Veggie Tales episodes (before 2003)! Unfortunately, with the fall of Big Idea Productions, Veggie Tales just isn't what they used to be.
I was terribly disappointed viewing "The Duke and the Great Pie War" - the quality and message just wasn't the same. So much so, that my husband & I searched the web to find out what happened to Veggie Tales! (If you have the time you can read the details on www.philvischer.com)
Don't get me wrong - compared to what else is being produced out in the world - it is great, yeah! a wholesome message for kids! It is still entertaining. It was just obvious to me that the true heart & soul behind the original Veggie Tales series is missing - Phil Vischer is only involved in the writing of one episode a year these days. I look forward to finding out which episodes these will be!
Sweet Veggies:) February 16, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a sweet, little VT to watch with my kids. I thought the 'Babysitter' tale was cute and taught a valuable lesson. Sweet Petunia was adorable, if not a bit goofy at times. We totally think that Larry just stole the show on this VT!! The 'serf' music was so catchy too! I am glad that this was more Veggie Tale-esque than another recent release. My kids love this one so far, and so it is on constant replay.
